David Gutiérrez, a talented Colombian musician, mixing engineer, and music producer, kicked off his career in Bogotá by collaborating with emerging rock and metal bands. His journey gained momentum as he mixed bands at festivals like Rock Hyntiba and events such as Boom, working with acts like Mask of Insanity (death metal) and Origen (folk rock). David founded Bogotá-based Native Sounds, overseeing diverse audiovisual projects including live sessions, photography, music videos, and streaming sessions until its closure in 2022. As a guitarist, he made waves with bands like Massdestruction (thrash metal) and Vampiros (gothic rock), performing extensively in Colombia and Ecuador. His profound love for rock, metal, and electronic music genres shaped his musical path, culminating in his 2022 solo project, Dave LNG, which distills his essence and worldview. Today, David resides in New York City, where he continues to lend his distinctive sound as a live sound engineer for both American and Colombian bands.
